Elote, also known as Mexican Street Corn, is a classic street food staple in Mexico. We took the original recipe and added a Latino Factor twist to turn up the spiciness level! Read below to learn how to spice up your elote with Takis!
Ingredients:
- 6 ears corn, shucked and cleaned
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Takis Fuego 4 oz bag (or your favorite flavor!)
- 1/3 cup of cotija cheese
- Lime wedges
Recipe:
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Grill corn until slightly charred all over for about 10 minutes
- Crush Takis chips
- Brush corn with a layer of mayonnaise
- Sprinkle Takis crumbs, cheese, and lime to your taste
